The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions indicators disseminates indicators on sectoral shares of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as three indicators of emissions intensity: per capita emissions; emissions per value of agricultural production; and emissions per area of agricultural land.
What the numbers show
All sectors without LULUCF — Emissions Share (CO2eq) (AR5) is currently reported for 209 countries. The highest value is 554.88 % in Fiji; the lowest is -841.41 % in Honduras.
The median across all reporting countries is 99.76 %, and the mean is 80.69 %.
Over the past decade 97 countries rose and 78 fell. The largest increase was in Democratic Republic of the Congo (up 206.4%), and the largest decrease in Ghana (down 912.2%).
