The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions indicators disseminates indicators on sectoral shares of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as three indicators of emissions intensity: per capita emissions; emissions per value of agricultural production; and emissions per area of agricultural land.
What the numbers show
Energy — Emissions Share (CO2eq) (AR5) is currently reported for 207 countries. The highest value is 255.1 % in Fiji; the lowest is -416.11 % in Belarus.
The median across all reporting countries is 64.32 %, and the mean is 53.44 %.
Over the past decade 100 countries rose and 107 fell. The largest increase was in Democratic Republic of the Congo (up 203.2%), and the largest decrease in Ghana (down 953.8%).
