Energy — Emissions Share (N2O) by country
The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions indicators disseminates indicators on sectoral shares of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as three indicators of emissions intensity: per capita emissions; emissions per value of agricultural production; and emissions per area of agricultural land.
What the numbers show
Energy — Emissions Share (N2O) is currently reported for 218 countries. The highest value is 93.44 % in Marshall Islands; the lowest is 0.23 % in Central African Republic.
The median across all reporting countries is 7.89 %, and the mean is 12.26 %.
The gap between the highest and lowest reporting country is a factor of about 406.
Over the past decade 124 countries rose and 93 fell. The largest increase was in Brunei (up 380.3%), and the largest decrease in Yemen (down 75.3%).
