This dataset provides indicators on greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in large (TL2) and small (TL3) regions. Data definition and source GHG are estimated by sector of origin at the subnational level using the Emissions Database for Global Atmospheric Research (EDGAR) (Joint Research Centre). What the numbers show
Greenhouse gas emissions - Regions — GHG emissions from domestic shipping is currently reported for 46 countries. The highest value is 19.50 million Tonnes of CO2-equivalent in United States of America; the lowest is 0 Tonnes of CO2-equivalent in Tunisia.
The median across all reporting countries is 387,955 Tonnes of CO2-equivalent, and the mean is 1.69 million Tonnes of CO2-equivalent.
Over the past decade 18 countries rose and 26 fell. The largest increase was in New Zealand (up 239.1%), and the largest decrease in Luxembourg (down 71.7%).

This dataset provides indicators on greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) in large (TL2) and small (TL3) regions. Data definition and source GHG are estimated by sector of origin at the subnational level using the Emissions Database for Global Atmospheric Research (EDGAR) (Joint Research Centre). OECD countries have two regional levels: large regions (territorial level 2 or TL2) and small regions (territorial level 3 or TL3).
