The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions indicators disseminates indicators on sectoral shares of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as three indicators of emissions intensity: per capita emissions; emissions per value of agricultural production; and emissions per area of agricultural land.
What the numbers show
IPPU — Emissions Share (CO2eq) (AR5) is currently reported for 208 countries. The highest value is 53 % in Fiji; the lowest is -50.2 % in Honduras.
The median across all reporting countries is 5.37 %, and the mean is 5.93 %.
Over the past decade 134 countries rose and 69 fell. The largest increase was in Tokelau (up 27,400.0%), and the largest decrease in Ghana (down 1,476.3%).
