IPPU — Emissions Share (N2O) by country
The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions indicators disseminates indicators on sectoral shares of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as three indicators of emissions intensity: per capita emissions; emissions per value of agricultural production; and emissions per area of agricultural land.
What the numbers show
IPPU — Emissions Share (N2O) is currently reported for 138 countries. The highest value is 79.31 % in Trinidad and Tobago; the lowest is 0 % in Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The median across all reporting countries is 2.71 %, and the mean is 9.05 %.
Over the past decade 84 countries rose and 45 fell. The largest increase was in China, mainland (up 148.5%), and the largest decrease in Zimbabwe (down 56.2%).
