The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions indicators disseminates indicators on sectoral shares of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as three indicators of emissions intensity: per capita emissions; emissions per value of agricultural production; and emissions per area of agricultural land.
What the numbers show
Pre- and post-production — Emissions Share (CO2eq) (AR5) is currently reported for 208 countries. The highest value is 93.63 % in Fiji; the lowest is -149.59 % in Honduras.
The median across all reporting countries is 10.59 %, and the mean is 10.55 %.
Over the past decade 126 countries rose and 82 fell. The largest increase was in Serbia and Montenegro (up 236.8%), and the largest decrease in Belarus (down 934.4%).
