Colombia vs Small Island Developing States (SIDS): Nutrient nitrogen N: Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches)
Nutrient nitrogen N: Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches) over time
- Colombia
- Small Island Developing States (SIDS)
How they compare
Colombia currently reports 2.05 kt against 0.9259 kt in Small Island Developing States (SIDS), a difference of 1.12 kt.
That makes Colombia's figure about 2.2 times Small Island Developing States (SIDS)'s.
The two have swapped places 3 times across 65 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Small Island Developing States (SIDS) ahead.
Colombia ranks 36th and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) ranks 33rd of 218 countries.
Across the 9 decades both report, Colombia averaged higher in 6 and Small Island Developing States (SIDS) in 3.

About this data
The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions from Crops provides estimates of emissions associated with crop processes, namely 1) crop residues, 2) burning of crop residues, and 3) rice cultivation and the application of nitrogen (N) fertilizers, including mineral and chemical fertilizers, to soils. Estimates are computed at Tier 1 following the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National greenhouse gas (GHG) Inventories (IPCC, 2006).
