Denmark vs Paraguay: Nutrient nitrogen N (total) — Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches)
Nutrient nitrogen N (total) — Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches) over time
- Denmark
- Paraguay
How they compare
Paraguay currently reports 0.6908 kt against 0.6523 kt in Denmark, a difference of 0.0385 kt.
That makes Paraguay's figure about 1.1 times Denmark's.
The two have swapped places 1 time across 65 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Denmark ahead.
Denmark ranks 62nd and Paraguay ranks 61st of 199 countries.
Across the 9 decades both report, Denmark averaged higher in 8 and Paraguay in 1.

About this data
The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions from Crops provides estimates of emissions associated with crop processes, namely 1) crop residues, 2) burning of crop residues, and 3) rice cultivation and the application of nitrogen (N) fertilizers, including mineral and chemical fertilizers, to soils. Estimates are computed at Tier 1 following the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National greenhouse gas (GHG) Inventories (IPCC, 2006).
