Guyana vs Mongolia: Nutrient nitrogen N (total) — Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches)
Nutrient nitrogen N (total) — Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches) over time
- Guyana
- Mongolia
How they compare
Guyana currently reports 0.0491 kt against 0.0347 kt in Mongolia, a difference of 0.0144 kt.
That makes Guyana's figure about 1.4 times Mongolia's.
The two have swapped places 12 times across 65 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Guyana ahead.
Guyana ranks 127th and Mongolia ranks 130th of 199 countries.
Across the 9 decades both report, Guyana averaged higher in 6 and Mongolia in 3.

About this data
The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions from Crops provides estimates of emissions associated with crop processes, namely 1) crop residues, 2) burning of crop residues, and 3) rice cultivation and the application of nitrogen (N) fertilizers, including mineral and chemical fertilizers, to soils. Estimates are computed at Tier 1 following the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National greenhouse gas (GHG) Inventories (IPCC, 2006).
