Palau vs Timor-Leste: Nutrient nitrogen N: Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches)
Nutrient nitrogen N: Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches) over time
- Palau
- Timor-Leste
How they compare
Timor-Leste currently reports 0.0002 kt against 0.0001 kt in Palau, a difference of 0.0001 kt.
That makes Timor-Leste's figure about 2.0 times Palau's.
The two have swapped places 8 times across 24 shared years of data; in 2002 it was Timor-Leste ahead.
Palau ranks 200th and Timor-Leste ranks 198th of 218 countries.
Across the 5 decades both report, Palau averaged higher in 1 and Timor-Leste in 4.

About this data
The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions from Crops provides estimates of emissions associated with crop processes, namely 1) crop residues, 2) burning of crop residues, and 3) rice cultivation and the application of nitrogen (N) fertilizers, including mineral and chemical fertilizers, to soils. Estimates are computed at Tier 1 following the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National greenhouse gas (GHG) Inventories (IPCC, 2006).
