Seychelles vs Singapore: Nutrient nitrogen N (total) — Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches)
Nutrient nitrogen N (total) — Indirect emissions (N2O that leaches) over time
- Seychelles
- Singapore
How they compare
Seychelles currently reports 0.0003 kt against 0.0001 kt in Singapore, a difference of 0.0002 kt.
That makes Seychelles's figure about 3.0 times Singapore's.
The two have swapped places 5 times across 64 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Singapore ahead.
Seychelles ranks 179th and Singapore ranks 182nd of 199 countries.
Across the 9 decades both report, Seychelles averaged higher in 2 and Singapore in 6.

About this data
The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions from Crops provides estimates of emissions associated with crop processes, namely 1) crop residues, 2) burning of crop residues, and 3) rice cultivation and the application of nitrogen (N) fertilizers, including mineral and chemical fertilizers, to soils. Estimates are computed at Tier 1 following the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National greenhouse gas (GHG) Inventories (IPCC, 2006).
