Jamaica vs Namibia: Nutrient nitrogen N (total) — Indirect emissions (N2O that)
Nutrient nitrogen N (total) — Indirect emissions (N2O that) over time
- Jamaica
- Namibia
How they compare
Jamaica currently reports 0.0099 kt against 0.0089 kt in Namibia, a difference of 0.001 kt.
That makes Jamaica's figure about 1.1 times Namibia's.
The two have swapped places 6 times across 65 shared years of data; in 1961 it was Jamaica ahead.
Jamaica ranks 141st and Namibia ranks 143rd of 199 countries.
Across the 9 decades both report, Jamaica averaged higher in 7 and Namibia in 2.

About this data
The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions from Crops provides estimates of emissions associated with crop processes, namely 1) crop residues, 2) burning of crop residues, and 3) rice cultivation and the application of nitrogen (N) fertilizers, including mineral and chemical fertilizers, to soils. Estimates are computed at Tier 1 following the 2006 IPCC Guidelines for National greenhouse gas (GHG) Inventories (IPCC, 2006).
