The FAOSTAT domain on Emissions indicators disseminates indicators on sectoral shares of total national greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions as well as three indicators of emissions intensity: per capita emissions; emissions per value of agricultural production; and emissions per area of agricultural land.
What the numbers show
Pre- and post-production — Emissions Share (CO2eq) (AR5) (F-gases) is currently reported for 151 countries. The highest value is 461,795 % in Suriname; the lowest is 0.13 % in Paraguay.
The median across all reporting countries is 56.34 %, and the mean is 3,516 %.
Over the past decade 43 countries rose and 108 fell. The largest increase was in Suriname (up 72,151.5%), and the largest decrease in Cameroon (down 95.1%).
